Description
Authentic Preston Petty IT Rear Fender Complete Kit
Preston Petty Motorcycle IT rear fender kit. IT stands for Integral taillight. Yes these have the Preston Petty logo cast into them just like the originals did back in the 1970's for that vintage look and feel. These are made from a high impact resistant polypropylene plastic. These have a shiny smooth finish just as Preston's did back in the 1970's. Compare the IT to any ordinary taillight and rear fender. The lens is directly mounted to the fender and closely follows the fenders contour so it will not snag the rider, trees, rocks etc.. The IT comes complete to hook up directly to your existing electrical system.

IT Rear Fender Kit - Silver
I am very happy that Preston Petty is still making these products!! Shipping was incredibly fast too. (-: My older brother is 59 years old, and he found the very 1976 Yamaha DT-400C he bought when he was 16!! From the factory it had silver fenders. The rear was metal and all bent up and welded and 1/2 gone, and the tail light was missing too. This IT fender is the perfect color, has the tail light built in and all wired up and ready to go. It even has a flat area under the tail light which is perfect for mounting a license plate. This fender was the best and easiest solution for us. It was easy to mount and it looks really good!! The front fender is plastic and silver too. It was in bad shape as well... But I had a new and unused silver Preston Petty front fender that I bought around 40 years ago!! So that one will go on the front soon. I hope you folks keep making these plastic fenders!! As far as I concerned, they are the the best you can get. Thank You.
